4 Sunglasses For Just $12

If you know me well, you know there a few things that I hate with a passion: UGGS, Crocs, slow drivers, bad smells, bees (insects in general) and Charlotte Russe. There are a bunch of other things of course, but these are all in the top ten. Today however, I’m blogging about these dope sunglasses I found at Charlotte Russe (yes I still hate the store).

My mom is the queen of sunglasses. She can pretty much wear any frame you can think of, and wear it well. Recently, she discovered that Charlotte Russe actually has a great selection of sunglasses. As you can imagine, I was hesitant at first, because well, I hate Charlotte Russe. Once I saw the sunglasses she found there, I realized it was worth a trip.

Charlotte Russe has poor quality clothes, but their accessories (shoes, belts, sunglasses etc.) are usually very trendy and comparable to more expensive brands. I decided to visit the store with my mom and sister to check out their sunglasses and I was impressed.

Of course the sunglasses were an absolute mess, but I’m a thrifter so I’m used to digging for gold. After searching through their sunglasses I found four that I fell in love with. Oh, and each pair was only $3 dollars.

I’m a girl who loves fashion, but I have a horrible collection of accessories. My ears aren’t pierced, I rarely wear a necklace, my belts are old and most of my rings are green or distressed now (and not in the cool rugged way). I’ve been trying to spice up my outfits with accessories but I don’t have much to choose from. One of my style icons, @laurajadestone, can wear almost anything and make it look amazing. I’ve noticed that a lot of her more simple outfits look amazing because she rocks it with a stylish pair of sunglasses.

I was inspired by Laura Jade Stone and used my shopping trip to Charlotte Russe to find sunglasses that I felt would be able to use to spice up my outfits. Each pair of sunglasses that I found was a statement piece, so I knew they would be able to bring any outfit to life.

Sunglasses don’t need to be expensive to be amazing! In fact, it will make you feel a lot better when you break them or lose them if you only paid $3 dollars for them in the first place. The secret to fashion is knowing when to spend and when to save. I decided to save on sunglasses this year, and my wardrobe and bank account will thank me.  I would love to see you rock your favorite pair of sunglasses, use the hashtag #MGLshades so I can find your post!

With Love,
