March Ipsy Bag
I know, I know, I'm a little late. Only by a few days though, so if you receive the Ipsy bag and you haven't gotten around to experimenting or really using your items, you've come to the right place. On the other hand, if you've never received an Ipsy bag and just wanna window shop to see what items you may or may not get, you still have time to read this and get the April bag! So I'm not TOO late.
Anyway, let's not waste any more time. I'm going to arrange these a little differently this month, from worst to best.
First up is the Marula Pure Beauty Oil. The reason this ranks so low on here is because I am more of a traditional cream moisturizer gal. I get the appeal of these face oils, but they're not for me. They are used to "hydrate, moisturize, and protect the skin against the abuse of the elements.", but what it does for me is break out my face. I'm sure oils are the way to go for a lot of people, but what I've noticed is that if I put it on at night, which is recommended, it doesn't really get absorbed in my skin, but just kind of sits right on top and gets all over my pillow. I've tried putting in on in the morning and I look super oily. You can probably cover it up when using make up though. Face moisturizers are a pretty picky cosmetic, especially if you've searched and finally found the one that works for you, which is why I'm giving this product a 3/5 stars.
Next up is the dls (dirty little secret) "Kitty Pink" blush. There is not much to say about this particular product. It's nice because you can never have too much blush, but there is nothing special about it. Nice shade overall, but it will most likely be sitting in my make up drawer until I realize I've run out of blush and am desperately in need on a new one. which let me tell you, never happens. So 3/5, for convenience.
So I'm not going to rank this product any higher than the other two simply because, honestly, I haven't tried it yet. I do like that this Marc Anthony (no relation to the singer) "Deep Repair Aloe Vera Jasmine" conditioning treatment came included because you can never have enough deep conditioners. I'll try it out and get back to you, but I have tried it's brother/sister product and was not too impressed. So based on that logic: 3/5 stars.
Finally, the good stuff! Tart Tarteist Lip Paint in "delish" is awesome. It applies smoothly, matte dries very quickly, and does not feel dry on your lips at all. So I highly recommend: 4/5 stars. I don't give it the full 5/5 because once I run out and I want to buy a full sized lip tint, it will run a little pricier than I'm used to.
Bonus:
I do wanna give a shout out to the best bag that has been received so far. It's cute, pale pink, and my new everyday make up bag!
There you go! Hope you enjoyed and let me know if which product you liked best.
