#WhatIWoreToChurch 4 | The Throwback Look
I love any outfit that reminds me of the nineties, and this one did it for me. It also reminded my sister of the colonial times which I thought was hilarious and kind of true. There's nothing wrong with throwing in retro pieces and retro influence into your outfits, I love mixing old with new! Make sure that you only use one or two retro pieces in the outfit to keep it modern.
Comment below and tell me what your favorite decade is!
This past Sabbath I wore my off-white cropped and ribbed high-neck top, my brown suede dress, fishnet stockings, and my mom's brown heeled loafers. I really love wearing turtlenecks under dresses, and when that style came back last year I could have cried!
My favorite part of this outfit was the suede dress. It is so comfy and cozy and you can fit so much into it's huge pockets! I got this dress from Plato's Closet.
I've had these fishnet stockings for years, and I started wearing them again last year when I was inspired by all the models rocking the fishnet and ripped denim look. I love these fishnet stockings because they're unique and they look great with dressy and casual attire. I got these from Forever 21 about 7 years ago.
These shoes are from the thrift stor Savers. I almost never wear brown shoes, and these are actually my mom's.
...aaaand yes, this is the same purse I wore last week. It's definitely one of my "go-to's" and one of my favorite bags.
I hope you all liked this look and got inspired to throw in some retro pieces into your outfits this week!
